AFP Eastern Iowa, a chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), is committed to advancing philanthropy by supporting people and organizations in the practice effective and ethical fundraising. The Eastern Iowa Chapter represents more than 70 members in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor and surrounding areas.The Eastern Iowa Chapter is honored to be one of the chapters to receive the 2010 Ten Star Chapter Award.This award honors those chapters that align their objectives with AFP’s current strategic plan and encourages them to perform specific activities designed to increase professionalism within the profession, as well as public awareness of the importance of philanthropy.
